but to be fair when the first low quality snippets of Make Me... leaked made me judge the song differently than when it released.

I hope that snippet isn't real, but it's so LQ it's difficult to make much out. 

I'm not holding my breath for the track, I'm just happy we're getting anything at all, she really doesn't have to do any of this, so I'm ok with it dropping whenever it's ready, or if it ever does.

Read my comment again, that's literally what i said in the second part. And calm down no need to insult other people. I just don't wanna get my hopes up because i secretly wanna hear her voice again badly.

Sorry misread but i'm sick of all that - It's obviously coming. The 19th was an assumption that everyone here ran with. I wouldn't be surprised if the interest surrounding her in the media is making them do some last minute promo while she's still a hot topic

I know, it is stupid of us to assume it's coming when the woman herself nor the man himself said ANYTHING about the song or the release. We're all just really thirsty i think haha. 

 

I personally have PTSD from all the scrapped Britney projects. Make me MV , Gimme more MV , Perfume MV etc. So i always put worst case scenario first and foremost lol. 

 

But im pretty sure they just pushed it back. Maybe the Blackpink release had something to do with it?

I really don’t think anyone should be expecting significant promo for this song. It’s a cute little drop and collab with 2 legends who appreciate one another. 
 

My theory on its “delay”, if it even is delayed, it was never confirmed, is actually the opposite of what you said, likely pushing the release out of respect & to distance from the recent happenings. 

 

Nobody wants this tarnished by headlines like “Britney drops track with Elton after Ex leaks audio of private conversations”. The focus should be the music.
