MadonnasBoyfriend Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 watched a double feature of this on thurs i dont quite understand how the two are related when one seems to take place in the 70s but then the same character is in like silent picture times? anyways they were both alright. skip ir or see it your life will remain the same lol
slik Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 I don't understand how anyone can be confused on how they are related
Scandalous Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 i might have liked this even more than X! it was basically a one woman show from Mia and she absolutely killed it
Admiringamor Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 This completely blew my mind! A millions times better than X. Mia deserves an Oscar in the same way Toni did for Hereditary but we know how that turned out. The end credits had me screaming ??

The timeline checks out. the first official "talkie" came out in 1927 so yes it was still the silent film era in 1918 Edit: Movie was great, Mia's acting Emmy-worthy wbk. That 10 minute one shot scene in the kitchen Edited September 20, 2022 by Del Savior

truthteller Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Mia was definitely the movie and singlehanded carrying the whole film but i wish the pace was a bit faster for the first half... it's too much of a slow burn with a lot of weird "homage to the old hollywood films" edits that feel a bit awkward from time to time
