Lil Mxnster Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 I really thought for a second that Roman would die at the end of the episode Sarah and Kieran deserve the EMMY

ANTisocial Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Kieran deserves all the awards omg what a performance 1

luckythisway Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Kendall started off the series as the winner and will end as the winner. Why?
AdamL44 Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 terrified and feeling SICK for the finale WHAT a show...WHAT a ride. Jesse Armstrong you will always be famous 20 hours ago, luckythisway said: Kendall started off the series as the winner and will end as the winner. Why? (it's gotta be Kendy, right???? He wins but loses everything...)

Idk but that $10k coat he was wearing in Sunday’s episode was the true sign of victory for me 1

Blade Runner Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Finally watched the last episode. Best of the season after 4x03. What a ride and so many things to say. Just breathtaking and out of this world. Roman Roy and Kendall Roy are literally some of the best characters ever created. You can feel and almost touch the tragedy inside of them. Marvelous. It would have been cool to have another season, but like that tweet said, there's no life without Logan Roy.

We don't know what happened when Greg partied with Lukas and that's another clue. He's not even listening to Tom anymore. He's a bigger and more confident dog now. Plus, Both of those tweets (the quote and the original) are fascinating.

RunUpDoneUp Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 How much of a walking dildo, do you have to be to tell someone to reconsider their resignation. Greg is a bottom feeding, scum sucking, roadwhore. He's repugnant. "Daddy's here." Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Just...nope. Nope. Nooooooope. Can somebody, ANYBODY cash this MORON her reality check?! Clearly, she doesn't know how to cash it herself. That child is dumb and it isn't even born yet, purely on shiv's idiotic delusions. The expectation was tom's genes but looks like it's all shiv. It seems like despite the fear mongering, shiv doesn't know what a nazi president entails. He no longer needs anyone, he can now shuffle the nation, legislative branches and judicial authority as he sees fit. It's game over. "I can do f'in anything, my dad just died." Moneyshot! Love that line. She may be a monster but like Logan, I do enjoy Caroline a lot. All the king's horsemen, of course they're the women he rode, couldn't manage to put humpty dumpty, together...again. These dirty rats trying to stop the one man who knows Logan longer than they do is peak Roy behavior. Ladies & Gentlemen, the ONLY genuine speech at a funeral ever. Honest, meaningful and as Logan would put it, "so f"in spicy, so true." Hell is never cold, I do hear. Cry, roman. Mald, scream even. You dad is trash and so are you all. Finally, the real slim Roman has appeared. The fragile, weak, feeble man behind the curtain. Behold! The true form of a man without a soul. I understand Kendall and the writers thought that, that speech was gonna be a valid retort but t was literal whataboutism, LMAO. "Uh, yeah, this dude was trash but look, look at this photograph!" like...? Sksksk. Of course the devil was comfortable in the hell he made, why wouldn't he be? Super stupid. A fitting appraisal by a shoddy apple skinned craftsman of the rotten tree. What a sad little sow roman is, just small and meager. A nothingman. So we see who can do the best Logan impression for the board. Kendall doesn't realize this but he's the biggest candidate to be lincoln'd. He's a walking L. Shiv is woundable but kendall isn't even legally fit. Like literally. He's a criminal. This will not end well. This episode felt very The Leftovers. Like a same string of events. Not because the writing is bad but because the writing of people is so consistent that it feels like a day in actual life. Last time we had a meeting, Kendall lost the vote of no confidence because he wasn't there. Can he redeem himself and win the crown? Find out next time, on dbz.
Park Jinyoung Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Don’t think writers are hinting it’s gonna be him at all, it’s the opposite. That was the point of his name being in the will (greg. questionmark). That moment practically broke the fourth wall. The writers were having a kii. Laughing at us, the audience, for suggesting it.

True. If even Shiv is questioned for her lack of experience imagine ******* cousin Greg. The board wouldn't get behind that.
AdamL44 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 The hoard of self-congratulatory "it's so obvious omg Greg is gonna win" tweets and tiktoks This not a Netflix Original there is absolutely no way in which Gr*g becoming CEO won't be deeply and fundamentally bathetic. Jesse Armstrong will have to pull off something astonishing to have made CEO!Greg a dramatically satisfying ending so I guess I'll believe it when I see it. I just know some ppl indoctrinated by shock factor // genre TV are gonna end up disappointed when the finale doesn't have 4 surprise deaths and an abortion. (this show started with Kendall and it'll end with him, I fear )

(this show started with Kendall and it'll end with him, I fear ) i agree. the show is way too smart and self aware to do something so cheap for a laugh in it's final climax. that said, the election episode (while enjoyable) did all the wrong things (everything felt so obvious and sorkin'd and bluntly revealing of the show's own politics which it usually telegraphs in much more clever ways) and finales tend to miss the mark so it's certainly not impossible imo.
Park Jinyoung Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) I know this show is suffering from success when I see braindead comments from men negatively comparing Rava and Skyler White. I don’t think the average straight male should be allowed to watch prestige television. It’s wasted on them. Edited May 26, 2023 by Park Jinyoung 1
Taylor fanboy Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 It’s the end, and they’re all still exhibiting loser behavior. Logan is unimpressed in hell. What a show! Looking forward to the finale in a couple of hours.
Haburo Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 (edited) I want Shiv to win and DESTROY Kendall and Roman (even though Roman basically self-destructed last episode). I am scared that the Matsson sale will go through and that Matsson will appoint Greg as US CEO because he prefers working with him than Shiv (as in the election party episode at her house). Edited May 28, 2023 by Haburo
Almodusa Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Can’t believe this and Barry will be over in less than 12 hours
McNulty Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Honestly they should have given us a fifth and final season of the siblings fighting against each other
Rachel Berry Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Finally all caught up, and I’m just not ready to say goodbye to the Roy siblings
TeamThiem Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 So excited for the finale but could do with a season 5. Kieran is winning that emmy for the last episode. Sealed.
