It's basically saying our wallets are hurting so we've expanded the target audience. It could very much be that. But maybe the people in charge also changed? (I wouldn't know)

Dolce Vita Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 they should’ve done this ages ago, not after their popularity waned savage fenty was inclusive right from the start and took their spot

JBJT2786 Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 Rih really killed this brand huh? The reason Fenty is so successful is cuz its made to make women ( and recently men) feel SEXY no matter the size, race sexual orientation, etc... VS taking away the SEXY while trying to be inclusive is negating the point FENTY established. Now it's just a typical underwear brand. They have every right be dragged
Scotland Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 Awful. Bring back the skinny and sexy era, but it's never gonna happen.

One of the most famous angels (Romee) didn’t get her period and became infertile for years because of her eating patterns and finally started getting her period during lockdown when she started eating better and not working as much. Even Adriana who you named talked about how she would go through phases of only drinking liquids for weeks + working out everyday to get ready for the show. So what? Victoria's Secret used to be super prestigious because of the sexed up image and the whole "angels" theme. It's what made the brand recognized and unique. Being a model is for the best of the best and it requires blood, sweat and tears to maintain the figure. Strict diet and exercise, it's hard ******* work that is definitely not for every person. That is why high fashion and couture models are still size zero. This pandering is just for mass consumption brands, and Victoria's Secret simply fell off because they gave up on their brand and what made them stand out.

infrared Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 it's a step in the right direction even if it's pandering.

Before Today Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Poor VS people will always have things to complain about
KaledKalil Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 If there is a phrase that I absolutely hate a brand to use is: we see you. You don't see me, you see my wallet when I'm not buying your stuff anymore. You can make inclusive fashion fun and flirty, but I guess being boring won at the end.
AxelFox Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Times have changed; a brand like VS would not succeed in the era of fat positivity and SJWs. I'd rather they just shut down with dignity and be remembered as a capsule of a specific period in time than... whatever they're trying to do now.
Domination Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Dove Soap should pay for their crimes against humanity. I hate how every brand that wants to do the pseudo-inclusivity has to make it so sterile and sexless… so… ugly. This is why Savage is eating the market right now despite the designs being largely mediocre. Savage doesn’t need to sell you virtue and acceptance, they sell sex and that just so happens to include non-white, non-thin, non-cis people. It’s not rocket science.
Siberian Tiger Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Why do they think people will buy their "not sexy" things when where are other brands that offer the same and are cheaper and better?

OrgVisual Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 They should stick to their gun instead of pandering This seems incredibly not genuine. Hate how brands trying to be woke but the industry still remains the same
