We do need a new storyline and she can be included. I personally found Gale to be a highlight of 5 and wouldn't mind if she herself were to take out the new Ghostface's. They tried it with the Ill fated scream TV series with new characters and although I enjoyed it, that ended on the chopping block. Halloween only got a resurgence with Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role, so let Sidney live and kill off Samantha. The scene where she’s attacked in the hospital and runs to the officer saying: “he’s trying to kill me!” Was cringey and bad acting should be sorted with a first kill scene.
