well, Formation was not released traditionally at first so i don't think it's fair to compare both songs

Woo, people are BIG mad in here lol. Still can't see the forest for the trees and are exxagerrating to boot. Beyoncé had several singles being played on multiple formats in the '10s decade. They just weren't #1 hits on top 40 radio. She was still being played on someone's radio and the singles were charting though.

 

NEway, I love this for mutha. She's starting her 40s off as a legendary diva for sure.

DIL does not fit in with the 2014 radio sounds at all. It’s too slow (bpm), too long in length, too filthy in content
