And if you’re bothered by my response, you can do the same :michael:

You're the one who felt the need to quote me though.

I do not have to expect anyone from that list to debut with more streams than Beyoncé because that was not the ask nor what I labelled the list as being. It was a list of female artists who released a new song on Spotify in 2022...it's really that simple. There's no angle to it. It's a list of some of the female artists who released new songs on Spotify in 2022.

I didn't include anyone who wasn't a famous name or doesn't have fans and I even added a note to say it wasn't a year of big releases.

I'm not sure what more you want but for me to say "Of the Top 10 Most Streamed Female Artists on Spotify, Beyoncé and Taylor Were The Only Ones To Release A New Song To Spotify This Year".

Ok, can you please make an actual list and name them all then? That would be less confusing.

Hive really think they're doing something pulling out SL receipts :dies:

Doesn't take away the 1M second day drop your fav just had.

The level of embarrassment in here :skull:

If you look at the first page, you’ll see who mentioned SL first & why it’s even being compared :katie:

Great second day numbers. Maybe it’ll keep doing decently and reach top 15 eventually. The song has really grown on me from that first listen.

I did, and you didn’t ignore it like you advised, so…what else is going on?

You just snapped at a user who said you were finding issues and yet you're doing just that.

There's absolutely NO confusion in the list I offered. If you are confused about it I can't do anything more about that.

Female artists that dropped new music on Spotify this year:

  • Lizzo
  • Taylor Swift
  • Christina Aguilera
  • Mary J. Blige
  • Avril Lavigne
  • Charli XCX
  • Rosalia
  • Anitta
  • Kehlani
  • and more...as I don't have a master list of all releases...

...maybe it's not the year of the biggest releases ever but it's not like no one of any substance released new music.

The fact still remains that Beyoncé still got the biggest debut first day numbers on Spotify for a female artist so far this year. The above list still contains several hyped, popular and successful artists, stars in their own right, and several peers of Beyoncé's generation.

You just named people you would never put next too bet in terms of star power. The only name there is Taylor and we can apply logic there.

She has the "record" because no other big names released yet.

5,1 - 4,3 = 0,8

Go back to math classes.

Clearly it didn't give you closure because you're still here quoting me.

Last word.

Didn't Halsey release something recently? She has two of the biggest songs of the 2010s

So the second day is higher than Stupid Love's second day... hmmm

It's not like Bey is a TTH staple and uses it reguarly. She isn't even the cover. Last time she did TTH was for Black Parade and it wasn't meant to be a hit.

She alienated herself from the platform and took a hit last decade. Despite her still finishing top 10 for most streamed women overall. So TTH was somewhat logical if she wanted to let the GP know her catalog was back. Lemonade streams have gotten a pretty huge boost. I don't think yall understand how many people I see asking where certain Bey music clips come from on The Gift and EIL. They truly don't know.

I don't know why yall are so desperate to put Beyonce in a box. This is the most conventional release she's done in a a decade, but it's still not traditional. She has yet to drop the video, perform or send the song to radio. We have yet to hear her officially speak on the single or what it means to her really.

They don't know because they don't care to know. Her music isn't hidden. It's easily accessible. People don't know because they aren't into her to be in the know then they hear an interesting snippet and wonder where its from, kinda like new artist.  Streaming isn't some committee that you can alienate unless you are saying her fans don't stream music at all.

And you would be justified if she was pulling numbers in other avenues that make up for where she lacks in streams. She isn't. Well we don't know.

It's so weird how they're trying so hard to take a woman's achievements away from her. :gaycat6: Like, just congratulate her and move on. I promise you no matter how much time you spend, how many theories you come out with, nothing will change the numbers. These people don't have any love in their lives, I fear.

Funny how I'm not the first one to repeat myself yet I'm the one you picked out... Maybe address that bias first then talk about being flamebaity

It is REALLY weird. Its not just saying shes not successful now, but that fanbase is actively trying to take former success away from Bey too. "She aint all that", "She's all smokes and mirror", "She never was that big"..

We're talking about the most successful Black female in the past 25 years who absolutely cultivated and impacted the RnB/Urban music genres and thus Pop since Pop took a LOT of influences from these genres. Its really worrying and the reason why so many consider them racist. It IS a very racist thing to do and say - belittling and taking away success AND rewriting history.

Ah yes. Someone in the chart and analysis thread said your fave's numbers are impressive, that must men they want to take her achievement away.

I hope you leave nothing but encouraging comments in every thread you enter

Yeah but he's misunderstanding the point on purpose, that's what he always does when it comes to Beyoncé :rip:

It’s amusing to see the Hive play the victim and complain about Monsters hijacking Bey-related threads when they’ve been infesting every single Gaga thread for the past 6ish years with their trolling, creating countless threads trying to drag her singles, albums & movies (and failing miserably most of the time), mocking her for her looks and illness and just being straight up nasty

Like the Hive has a dedicated group of members ready to create flamebait threads as soon as Gaga does something and now they wanna cry about Monsters being mean!!1!11. :toofunny3:

OT: Stable which is a good sign
