Are you talking to me? I did want Beyoncé to come back. I've been a fan since the DC days :toofunny3:

Just because I'm very critical of some aspects of her career, it doesn't mean I'm not a fan. In fact, I probably know more about her than most Hives here. I've watched every single performance she's ever done, and listen to every single song, even obscure unreleased songs like Stop Sign and Forever to Bleed. I'm a critical of her because I CARE; because I want her music to be as good as it can be, but I am flabbergasted by her releasing a Chromatica b-side as her big comeback single. I expected much better after a long break.

You can compare this to Shitmatica all you want. It won’t make it true.

I don't think people realize how stupid it looks when the numbers are higher than the songs they're comparing it to :rip:

It's trolling, and really awful trolling.

Incredible numbers for an artist 25 years into her career. Constantly shifting the goalposts and pushing boundaries without feeling gimmicky :clap3:

:ahh: Beyonce’ has been relying on gimmicks such as surprise release for clout

king tingz :clap3:

still obsessed with this song

Is this good compared to her last singles ? GO BEY!

this is actually good number considering it is literally the BIGGEST debut for a female song this year :dies:

also the fact that y'all were calling she's over with The Gift and Be Alive she wouldn't even enter top 20 if she was really over but she's only blocked by Joji by ~200k streams with the lack of 4 hours in the US and is top 5 WW, it's doing fine

Well that clout seems to have gotten her to live rent free in your head, seeing as you talk about her: literally every single day :rip: for somebody you “hate” that’s….not healthy

yes like the extreme gimmick that is announcing your single by updating your instagram bio. that's SURE to attract attention, put important information in a place that doesn't notify anyone of your having done so...

...anyway, gimmicks or not, what Beyoncé has done with surprise releases has made major impact in the industry and its now considered a legitimate rollout method that's been used by artists across many genres. try and shade it all you want, it's an iconic and impactful part of her legacy no matter how badly you want to see it as a gimmick.

1,99 million on Spotify doesn’t seem much, tbh. ( I’m not an expert so I might be wrong)

1.99M is US only :rip: 5.14M overall and its the biggest debut for a female song this year with only 20 hours of tracking

It’s kind of funny how people are saying “this is horrible for a SIX year wait!!!” when everyone has been saying Bey is a total flop and over the last six years because of all of her side projects.

So the side projects have made her a flop but also Break My Soul was supposed to do larger numbers because there was six years worth of hype? Interesting. Interesting indeed.

Right?! She's a huge, massive flop, but now, ALL OF A SUDDEN, there were six years of hype :lmao:

They also want us to believe that removing her profile pictures on social media and being on the cover of one magazine is some GIANT marketing campaign :lmao: As if it's her fault she can do something so small and generate hype :lmao:

Keep is coming, friends. This is giving me endless laughs today :lmao:

Right? As if her removing EVERY SINGLE PROFILE PIC on all her platforms wasn't an strategic move to generate hype... We ALL KNOW how strategic Beyoncé can be when it comes to releasing music. She knew what she was doing.

And yet @swissman insists all she did was change her bio. Nevermind we've been hearing about her new album and single coming for over a month... :skull:
