Right, it makes total sense.

 

The melodies are top tier which is standard for Bonnie. Lyrics are also very BM: "When I play my cards, keep em close to my chest"

I applaud her bravery and commitment of actually being able to publish these songs, hopefully she succeeds in doing it. I mean some "artists" should take notes and not give up on full, finalised projects that are kept shelved just because. What's the point of hoarding unreleased stuff that ends up being leaked anyway...

haha in Bonnish means she doesn't care, ok means it's probably not anywhere near being finished or formed so we shall give up and let her not release music If she'd care enough, we'd AT LEAST get a song that isn't from Epic but her upcoming album by now.

This is really interesting to know. I knew "Naked" was Bonnie obvs but had no idea she wanted to keep it, poor thing. Sad that in 2020 she's still not in a position (financial, legal, or otherwise) to say "No" and keep her own material, like what happened with Cheryl's "I Don't Care" / "Waking Up Diagonal" in 2014...

 

"From The Vault" is kinda associated with Taylor's re-recordings though (I know it's not a term exclusively coined by her or anything), it just seems weird to use it now when such a high-profile artist is mid-discography refresh using that exact terminology. In the TikTok age it also seems detrimental, being new or not doesn't really matter if the material slaps, Bonz.
