His audience is 21-30s. Definitely not old :rip:

You all said shes the new rihanna but she can't sell albums ijbol. Billie and Olivia from the current gen are selling physicals like hot cakes so that's not an excuse

5K physical albums x week is not "selling physical like hot cakes" :cm:

some of y’all are too worried about physicals in 2022.

who cares when the album is still Top 10 after nearly a year. even if it’s because of tiktok vitality that’s beyond impressive for someone without a solo #1 hit, #1 album and cant tour on their own.

They should've done something like this, would be flying off the shelves :jonny5:

Billie is doing fine for a supposed flop album and Olivia is still selling 10k physicals per week with a 1 yr old album while most in the top 20 are selling 10-200 copies :gaycat2:

And that’s the ONLY thing that matters :clap3:

hmm...I think she is still a new star so I don't think 16.5k units is that underwhelming

It's released towards the end of the era.

I'm sure in future eras vinyls will increase as she builds her fanbase

Olivia and Billie and vinyls like hot cakes with their debut albums

They belong to totally different categories

Female rappers generally don't have a big fanbase. Even Nicki's sales have never been that impressive

It’s ha fault for not selling different vinyl variants. The black vinyl is so boring, when the visuals for this album has been great.

But she’s still been in the Top 20 for so long, and the album is so good - so who cares?

Posted

i mean... given the lack of promotion and different variants this is hardly surprising :rip: this vinyl campaign could've been way more successful if they actually put effort and thought into it and didn't just throw a standard black at costumers and called it a day.

These excuses :deadbanana4: How much pure sales planet her has sold so far? Olivia debuted after Doja but stilll sold much more pure copies than her.

People with more stans generally do better on vinyl, she hasn't built much of a fanbase yet, relies on the gp mostly.

Also I do think Dr Luke will probably be replacing her with another mixed girl after the next era , what he's doing with her and Latto is a pretty obvious and shameful way of reviving his career ...

Doja can definitely tour on her own, & now she will since she dropped out of Abel’s tour

she doesn't inspire that kind of fanfare the same way girls like Adele, Beyonce, Taylor and to a very lesser extent Ariana do with vinyls.

she needs to cultivate more by doing more live performances that make people clamor for her, also great album tracks!

Not sure.  But she didn’t have any physical for several months until after release though…like, not even CDs lol.  And eventually she put up a few thousand “limited time only” CDs.

If I recall correctly, Olivia had like 30 different merch store offerings - including CDs, journals/magazines, and all sorts of other things, no? :skull: Clearly there was much more effort put into her fan/D2C offering, even though her vinyl delivery was delayed too.

Especially since she’s THE best performer of this generation.  It’ll be interesting to see how those solo tour numbers come out. :eatpopcorn:  Her “infection” is probably one of the best things that could’ve happened to her.

I’ll definitely be the first in line for that tour:jonny6:  Still bummed that she cancelled Wireless but I resold my tickets right after so
