hallucinate Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 flop confirmed her next lead single is going to debut with 10k streams
TheFameCurse Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Streaming her for free is more of a good "deal". Gas prices are high as ****.
genio Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 16k is actually pretty decent for someone who isn't fully established yet, her fanbase is still growing.
chaneloberlin Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 This is unsurprising to anybody with sense considering the streaming longevity of this album was largely influenced as a result of extended tiktok virality (what the GP is force-fed) and not from any actual increase in fanbase size awful sales but like i said, unsurprising
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted June 5, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted June 5, 2022 Hey, considering how long it's taken and the lack of acknowledgement regarding their shipment I'd say this isn't bad at all. The album has served such great longevity maybe I'll have to snatch a copy just wish there were variants

I'm sure in future eras vinyls will increase as she builds her fanbase
Cain Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 She doesn't really make timeless music, I like some Doja songs but she's giving flavor of the year

It's giving Rihanna teas but the truth is who is going to waste money on vinyls other than stans that use it as a collectors items based on if the vinyl has coloring or design. It isn't something a newer artist is going to get stans to invest in just yet...but in about 3 years or so I expect the numbers to show a noticeable increase. Physicals might be a little different but most people who purchase Vinyls don't even use them. A collectors items for die hard fans 16 minutes ago, professor2000 said: They wish Not the proverbial... I don't get dated from her music at all. I get fusion of pop, rhythmic and elements of hip hop and other genres. Kiss me more and Get into yuh might make your point. Say so, Need to know, Woman and other songs might show otherwise. Alot of dated music is sold on vinyls, too.
AMX Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Only diehard fans who keep up with updates accounts knew about it since it had virtually no promotion. To add, it wasn’t one of the colorful vinyls that are trending today.
By the Water Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Well, that might not be Billie/Olivia-level but it's more than twice as much what Bieber did with Justice

She changed tracklist at last min…which meant all the original physicals are collecting dust at RCA or in a warehouse somewhere. All of those were ready before release date. That’s prob why we didn’t get color variants. They already spent a **** ton of $$$. Oh well! Edited June 5, 2022 by professor2000

Billie and Olivia from the current gen are selling physicals like hot cakes so that's not an excuse Rihanna sucked at selling albums too (relative to her singles success)
BuzzCharts Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 She’s a GP artist without a big core fanbase. No amount of promotion would have made these sell.

Yes, she’s relatively new artist building her base but very silly thing to say about promo. Promo will always help because casual buyers and streamers exist. I doubt Billie would have moved 73k vinyls under the same conditions PH vinyls we’re done. On the other end, justice debuted with less and it 4 vinyl variants. Justin is way more famous, for way longer and has solid core fanbase.
Scorp Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Who's surprised? She has no solo #1 hits, no #1 albums, can't tour on her own. This isn't a shock to anyone with eyes and ears.
