Imagine putting German cuisine above Thai :deadbanana:

Croatia ?

Or Romanian above Chinese :deadbanana2:

China alone has more richness and variety in their cuisine than the entire Europe combined and then some

Poland deserves better. #15 is not bad, but below the US? :biblio:

Seems semi  decent of a ranking from my experience traveling to many of these places.  I would say:

1) Mexico  and France should  switch places
2)Thailand and Spain should switch places
3)  Romania really?--> I have never been here but I am a little surprised.  Can someone from eastern europe confirm this for me?
4) Egypt being on this list but not vietnam is a joke.

No but you're right :rip: their pizza is literally dough with tomato sauce and little specs of cheese scattered at random spots. I had pasta once cooked by an Italian and the spaghetti was literally still crunchy when we ate.

This is so random. Where tf is Vietnam

and France? lol

This is from tasteatlas. It's kinda like the Letterboxd for food. Users rate and log dishes from around the world that they have tried. So it's not objective or anything

India not in the top 1.. Flop list

France and Spain should be no where near that top 20 ?

Peru should be top 10 the amount of variety and flavors their food has is insane. Their food has amerindian, spanish, african, italian, french, chinese, japanese influence all in one.

With all northern and eastern european countries and their mega bland cuisines I'm surprised the UK isn't somewhere near the Top 10 with its fish and chips and shepard pies.

Mexico too low :noparty:

Georgia is too low

This smells of white privilege, occupying the Top 5

How can Middle East, south and east Asia, African and Caribbean islands be lower???

The French literally refined so many cooking techniques which now form the basis of most quality cooking in the Western world, and created many iconic dishes which have been exported worldwide

They have so many world class ingredients including wine, cheeses, butter, fresh herbs, meat, yoghurt, vinegars, condiments etc

If you not inclined towards European food then you may not personally like it but you have to acknowledge their achievements are impressive
