I wonder if there is a deluxe or something planned, because my Apple Music still shows 16 tracks and whenever I delete the album and re add it, it keeps showing me a version of the album with 16 tracks. But yes Wild Thing was great.

this is her sucker level of disaster without the local hit :falcon:

Some of you saying the album tracks were better than the singles while I think she picked them perfectly. Both MYTB and MDB are the strongest ones by far, the rest is giving H&M changing room and Chromatica by Shein

I do like the songs but they don’t bring anything new or exciting, great album tracks and a record I’ll be listening a lot bc that’s my type of music, but the average listener out there won’t give the time of the day. If MDB doesn’t stick, nothing will and she’s ******… it’s THE song and Atlantic should go all out with that.

Chromatica sounds way more Shein than this album so whatever that means I guess?

Yeah, the quality on these is not it and it’s only 2/3 of the album. I’ll wait for HQs

Ava is maybe in a Zara Larsson-ish situation. She hasn't been able to launch her sophomore era the way her label wanted so the album's release's is kinda on jeapordy. In the meantime, she's releasing a bunch of singles to see what will stick...

I don't like the singles but I love Sleepwalker and Hold Up (Wait a Minute). The rest are kinda meh

I like Hold Up too, it's nice

I feel like the songs have that "cute" aura but that's it... H&H had more standouts

is this even nearing Poster Girl levels of quality for all this mess to be worth it because if not...

Hold Up reminds me of Problematique (which is funny because even though it’s scrapped it easily washed whatever this album tried to be)

Probably not because that is a near perfect pop album.

i'm a lil confused as to why this has been delayed for 3 months unless the album is being reworked.

she had the opportunity to release an album in October along with SO MANY iconic pop acts.

she still prefers to call us Avatars:noparty:

They just changed it, we lost

maxipads is a horrible stan name, it sounds like a tampon

Imagine you spend years investing, stanning and following an artist only for that artist to produce material like this :bibliahh: And then for her to have delayed the suffering to their ears :bibliahh:

I love most of the new songs!
Get Out Of My Heart > Ghost > Sleepwalker > Dancing's Done > Hold Up > Weapons > Cold As Ice

(I can't stop replaying but I should bc I'll be over them once the album is released [if that's still a thing])

Exactly, these were my thoughts too :rip:

Although both D&D and Problématique felt kinda uninspired, Problématique is more full and sonically rich... some of these on D&D kinda sounds half baked, maybe because almost every song is short af :skull:  But this might be better when we get the final result and fully HQ.... i hope

I feel like Poster Girl was more consistent overall, imo. Although MDB is a huge highlight that PG lacked (in my opinion)

At the end of the day all of these albums (About Last Night, Problématique, D&D, Poster Girl) are kinda in the same lane with some highs and some lows, i enjoy all of them either way... although i expected more from D&D especially. But MDB alone sells the album for me :giraffe:

so true I feel like all of these recent albums will slot into a good underrated but basic servicable pop bops category that gays will return back to over the years.

I mean if you attempt to create a cohesive careless and fun pop album you'll surely find an audience for it.

Mess not the whole album l worded :doublescoop:

Am refusing to listen to LQ leaks. How does it compare to H&H overall? Are there bops on the level of K&Q, Salt and Torn? Are there single material tracks stronger than MDB? :keir:
