If that was really their plan they are idiots for branding her the way they did  Her image screams cheap, disposable, inauthentic. There are girls like MUNA, Jessie Ware, Maggie Rogers etc who have never had a hit but can easily tour because they are credible and that allows you to develop a real fanbase. If your intention is to become a touring artist they went about it as if it was still 2009 and the public was gullible enough to fall for the newest Dr Luke girl.
