It's the most brilliant TV show episode ever made, but it just can't get through without sobbing. Same that episode breaks me like no another. Every. Single. Time. But it's such an amazingly done episode. 18 hours ago, rcksluke said: What's the best season in y'alls opinion? Season 5 I'd say is easily the best. Season 2 & 3 would round out my top 3 I think. But I'm due another Buffy rewatch in 2023, it's been about 6-7 years since my last run through.
Power love Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 Will we ever get a continuation or new series with the original cast who all look amazing!

No. Even tho SMG she ALWAYS kills buffy reboot talk by saying shes too old. Her go to joke is shes gonna put stakes at the end of her walker. She just doesn't wanna do it for whatever reason. Even if it makes her relevant again. Anyways shes gonna be on a new werewolf show in January so better give her your support!
SinnerCity Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 A Buffy reboot involving the OG cast is never happening. I was hoping they would somehow continue animating the Season 8 comics or perhaps turn that into an animated show like Love + Robots. I think that'd be brilliant and the OG cast could simply voice the characters for nostalgia. Season 8 was fantastic imo, Season 9 was ok and I barely remember Season 10. A live action reboot of Buffy would be cool, the comics reboot was fun. Can we agree that we don't talk enough about the absolute gag this scene is, after telling the gang she was in hell and thanking them for bringing her back, Buffy comes and drops on us this absolute bombshell, like

fridayteenage Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 i felt the season 8 comic villain storyline and especially the ending were kinda dumb and awful. i did think faith's story was cute though.

The whole twilight stuff was bad, I mean, the fact that the brought Warren back after Willow killed him in Season 6. But there cute arcs, No Future For You, Wolves At The Gate, Time Of Your Life were great
Kevin2803 Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Spike had such amazing character development. He was the only who really understood Buffy, especially after she came back from the death, and unconditionally had her back in Season 7. I am the beginning of Season 6 right now and i understand that Willow & Co. think they did the right thing, but they were so pushy and i never understood why they assumed she was in hell?

Because, in S05E22, Giles said "all manner of Hell will be unleashed in the meantime," and they all latched onto the idea that Hell was opening... forgetting that Glory was, in fact, a GOD, so it's only natural Buffy would've gone to Heaven.
Ghibli Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Watching Angel S4 and omg, this is so messy.
sunbathinganimal Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 watching this for the first time, first season was kinda rough but almost finished S2 and it's getting so good

But also a few excellent episodes.

Danny789 Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 I feel like an anthology series about different slayers would be cool or adapt the Fray graphic novel into a show.
