Even the creator wasn't creative enough to come up with something that wasn't just werewolves.... AGAIN. The creator didn’t come up with it. It’s based on a book and he was asked to adapt it into a show. The premise for Ringer was good, but the people writing it weren’t and it quickly became a mess.

I watched The Crazy Ones pilot but then sort of forgot about it and didn’t bother to catch up once it got cancelled. Yes the trailer and the cbs version was gonna be much more adult and then cw made them do storylines about Ponzi schemes and Juliet stealing money from her dad with her mom, friend and teacher… I think they lost themselves… I also believe Ringer would have worked as a 10-13 episodes show

I remember reading it was a last minute pickup for The CW, so they probably didn’t have the budget ready for it. It did have a lot of potential and I loved the first episode, it just quickly took a nose dive for me.

Yes first 10 episodes were good-ish then I liked a few episodes here and there but even I could tell Sarah was so done with it and she never expressed any sadness the show got cancelled… it did end with a twist that made me want to see what was gonna happen
Power love Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Where can i watch the Ringer today? Streaming?

SinnerCity Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 I think Ringer was ok, a darker reboot would be good though, I can see the story being developed under a more mature vision. However, the show I really liked back in the day was Dollhouse, it had so much potential and for the most part, both seasons were great! It's sad they didn't get to expand more on that

Mr Boreanaz is simply not it.

Bridget finding out about Siobhan. SMG played essentially more than two characters on that show; she was Bridget, Bridget as Siobhan, & Siobhan (under other assumed aliases). Love it.

She was absolutely spectacular, she truly has such a wide range of acting it's amazing. Which makes me think, should we do a quick SMG movies rank?

Better Mistakes Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 (edited) Currently 3/4 of the way through S3 and loving Buffy. It never appealed to me as a child but being born 1995 i guess i was too young. I do find it bizarre to think our faves weren’t a thing when this show was coming out and i see the characters bopping to music Edited January 19, 2023 by Better Mistakes
sunbathinganimal Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 About 5 episodes into season 4 and is it just me or has the show gotten sillier? The episode where Oz leaves is the only one so far that has had any emotional weight
