Ringer had an actual hook and interesting premise. This has nothing. Even the creator wasn't creative enough to come up with something that wasn't just werewolves.... AGAIN.

The creator didn’t come up with it. It’s based on a book and he was asked to adapt it into a show. The premise for Ringer was good, but the people writing it weren’t and it quickly became a mess.

It looked extremely promising from the trailer and I was excited for it, but I had to stop watching at about episode 13 as it was just becoming too ridiculous for me and I couldn’t get past how cheap it looked. :rip:

I watched The Crazy Ones pilot but then sort of forgot about it and didn’t bother to catch up once it got cancelled.

Yes the trailer and the cbs version was gonna be much more adult and then cw made them do storylines about Ponzi schemes and Juliet stealing money from her dad with her mom, friend and teacher… I think they lost themselves… I also believe Ringer would have worked as a 10-13 episodes show

I 100% agree! 22 episodes for that type of storyline was stupid as you have to really stretch things out. I remember reading it was a last minute pickup for The CW, so they probably didn’t have the budget ready for it. It did have a lot of potential and I loved the first episode, it just quickly took a nose dive for me.

Yes first 10 episodes were good-ish

then I liked a few episodes here and there but even I could tell Sarah was so done with it and she never expressed any sadness the show got cancelled… it did end with a twist that made me want to see what was gonna happen

I think Ringer was ok, a darker reboot would be good though, I can see the story being developed under a more mature vision.

However, the show I really liked back in the day was Dollhouse, it had so much potential and for the most part, both seasons were great! It's sad they didn't get to expand more on that

yeah Ringer had some good plots and some interesting angles

I loved Zoey Deutch as the stepdaughter so didn't mind her story

it was just wild how Bridget/Siobhan could get into messes instead of coming clean first

Dollhouse was really good, too bad it didn't click, it was a great concept and Eliza was amazing in it

also the Wolf Pack poster reminds me of:

this first episode of Angel is kinda a slog ngl, I want David Boreanaz to [REDACTED] but he's not a leading man to me

She was good when she could play faith again. Otherwise she was eh. Most of the cast acted circles around her esp dichen

This spill though, Charisma outperforms with ease and is the real star. Mr Boreanaz is simply not it.

I mean, I get why she opted to not return...but I really wish she could've, at the very least, done six or eight episodes.

Or even a quick TV movie, that cliffhanger they left us on was plain rude :giraffe:

So rude. Bridget finding out about Siobhan. SMG played essentially more than two characters on that show; she was Bridget, Bridget as Siobhan, & Siobhan (under other assumed aliases). Love it.

She was absolutely spectacular, she truly has such a wide range of acting it's amazing. Which makes me think, should we do a quick SMG movies rank? :duca:

Currently 3/4 of the way through S3 and loving Buffy. It never appealed to me as a child but being born 1995 i guess i was too young. I do find it bizarre to think our faves weren’t a thing when this show was coming out and i see the characters bopping to music

About 5 episodes into season 4 and is it just me or has the show gotten sillier? The episode where

Oz leaves

is the only one so far that has had any emotional weight
