The exact opposite actually. I used to be more of a Centrist, but I've since taken a sharp turn to the left. 

What does becoming "less woke" even mean though? That you used to care about injustice against marginalized groups and now you don't anymore? That you now ignore and refuse to learn about social justice issues that affect other people?

idk about the word woke but I've definitely become less sensitive, reactionary, and play the victim far less as I've gotten older 

 

but I'm still anti-racism and anti-homophobia let me make that clear lol. it's just that the left has completely lost their minds and are in some ways no better than republicans. both parties have failed us so hard lol

I think it’s funny how the pendulum swings. Not being woke used to be such a snarky insult and now its an insult to be considered such. 
 

I’m less woke in the sense that im less reactive to the f**kery that goes on in the world and think cancel culture is a stupid term and honestly doesn’t even exist.  I protect my energy a lot better now, but that could be regular old American desensitization too. 
 

Im more woke in the sense that I listen to people who are being affected by different issues and consider their experiences before forming an ignorant opinion and putting it on my tired ass f150 as a bumper sticker 

 

Maybe we aren’t getting more or less woke, but just more mature?

No, I've moved further left the older I got. Though I was never a conservative, I was more conservative in how I saw the world.

As I actually looked at politics I saw what the world was really like, past and present. But I've become more realistic on what can be done at a given time.

No, I'm not white, rich or straight so the option of ignoring reality or living in idealistic bubbles aren't an option. Not regarding racial issues or economics - if anything I become more woke. However, I also learn that both sides of the conservative/progressive spectrum nake excuses for their behavior and for dealing with their issues, whether its religion, drugs or endless hookups.
