people who use getting older as an excuse to be selfish are just selfish and individualist who will never help civilization become something more than the mess that it is

No, the more older I get, the more stressed life gets and I overthink at night which leads to insomnia so I am like woke 20 to 22 hours a day

More “woke”, but profoundly less reactionary.

The opposite

but there was some point that I realized that it wasnt so black and white as ppl paint it out to be either

The opposite. :clap3:

I've began to care a lot less. A hell of a lot less reactionary as well.

White folks stole the word woke and are now trying to turn it into something else thats bad.

And look who fell for it.

Less woke? You people use the term as if it’s a bad thing. Sure, sometimes it’s a bit excessive when people base their entire personality around being “woke”, but I’m a firm believer in respecting other people in neutral spaces as I would like to be respected. Say/do what you want in private but everyone should feel comfortable being themselves in a public setting.

I do not assume anything about anyone and continue to give back when I can cause I know what it’s like to have nothing. The only thing that really bugs me is when injustice is rewarded. I know bad/mediocre people get rewarded all the time but I don’t (or choose not to) like it or them.

I feel very in the middle

Like I think leftism is deranged and has gone off the rails and has some major problems and but ultimately I think most of my political principles are in line with so called “wokes,” even if their ideals are utopian in many ways.

A lot of young people today seem weirdly eager to embrace conservatism. Remember one day you’ll wake up as just another hateful old man :cm:

The opposite, I've actually became more woke as I've grown older

I hate the culture war thing. Both the way the left uses it like some people here where their whole life revolves around being lgbqt and on the right with their whole bullsh1t on CTR and how they blame everything on immigrants.both are trash.

Im interested in the economic side of things not culture bullshit. What i wanna see is action not discussions. I dont care if u can have civil talks together that helps no one. The time for that was yesterday not now. I wanna see free healthcare for everyone, student debt being cancelled for all, UBI for all. Get **** done already that will improve the lives of working class people.

not having social awareness just makes you a dumbass tbh

which what a lot of anti-woke people are

I wasn’t that reactionary in the first place, I’m one of those people who minds my own business and doesn’t stick my nose in others because I genuinely don’t care ?

Needless to say, I don’t and have never supported policies/laws that restrict freedom of choice and promote prejudice. People should be able to live whatever lifestyle they please, as long as it doesn’t involve committing felonies a la murder, rape, pedophilia, etc.

If you don’t like Hollywood celebrities or politicians, stop talking about them. It doesn’t matter if you’re being critical or negative, no press is bad press and by doing so you’re just strengthening their platform.

Sometimes, less really is more. The sooner we collectively learn to MIND OUR BUSINESS, the less neurotic society will become.

It’s the people, regardless of political affiliation, who feel the incessant need to police other people on how to live, what to think, how to be etc. that are the problem. If you honestly think the entire world should revolve around every one of your specific beliefs, perspectives, opinions, then you are either naive and lack life experience, or you’re delusional and a bit narcissistic. The world will never 100% revolve around you or anyone else for that matter. So compromise, learn to agree to disagree, mind your own business, and be nice. You don’t have to get along with or support people you don’t like, but you do need to remain respectful and civil. It’s not rocket science but damn does it feel that way as time goes on….
