JungleJuice Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 Expirecing the submarine implosion in 4dx was slightly traumatic after that whole incident. So so so sooo cool tho 😂

Roberto Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 With Barbenheimer coming this week, the chance of this flopping are high.Â
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted July 19, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 19, 2023 I'm watching all the films in order and it's truly so wild how this franchise (particularly across the first four films) is such a hodgepodge. I've genuinely enjoyed each film even the second one but it's kind of amusing how they differ tonally and stylistically. Excited to watch this one at some point (hopefully in theaters but there's obviously so many films I want to see at the moment)Â
Smarticle Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Not them doing that to that character hopefully they retcon it in part 2

blackoutbritney Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 still haven't seen this yet.... is it worth it to go see it in theaters or should I wait for digital?

It was really good on the big screen. Couple of incredible action sequences that have to be seen on the big screenÂ
Mr. Duff Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 I feel bad for this, it is really good in my opinion and should be watched in the big screen. So much better than Barbie in my opinion.
Jotham Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 It's sad that this got overshadowed by Barbenheimer, it was a genuinely good movie. Hopefully it redeems itself with Part 2.
blackoutbritney Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Just got back from my viewing… so gooooood, not sure how I feel about the death tho.
ctlp27 Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Deserved much more, but I guess it will do wonder on VOD and Paramount +. Part 2 should smash better if they do not screw up again, secure 3 weeks IMAX exclusivity and PROMOTE the **** out of it.
Godly Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 I love when a movie can make two hours and a half fly by. Excellent set pieces as always, the train sequence in the final act was peak cinema 1

Spoiler I lowkey think that Ilsa is still alive, they are probably trying to cheat The Entity so she's no longer in its algorithm system whatever the f it is, goes undetected and will eventually strike back when it's off guard + Luther also goes hiding, most likely working with her too. Â
BNF91 Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 (edited) Finally got around to seeing this. Fantastic. Such a production man.  That final train sequence, jeeze.  Flop or not (even though this still made like $570M) this was a damn good film.  Spoiler Pissed about Ilsa though. They better find a way to bring her back in part 2 because that death was not it. She is basically Ethan's equal. Despite the middling box office, I just know Cruise and McQ are still gonna go all out for the finale. Balls to the wall. I truly believe Barneheimer took a sizable chunk off of this films performance. What a terrible release date, when it could have released in mid August.  Edited November 10, 2023 by BNF91
