Janet's three biggest albums sold around 40M copies combined. And those albums had a combined 18 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. She also has three additional albums in the 7-10M range. Also I'm sure Gaga wouldn't want her fans downplaying the legacy of artists she looked up to.
