A 24 year old going after a 17 year old is predatory in any context. CMBYN is problematic for a multitude of other reasons too.

Will & Grace was just a bunch of gay stereotypes and it wasn't even funny. Ironically the most entertaining character on the show was a rich straight woman.

It took until the second season of the original run to get funny. It definitely kind of made fun of some stereotypes but at the time it actually taught a large percentage of the population about gay people.

The Staircase a new tv show on HBO max is high key very homophonic. They way they treated his bisexuality was gross
