I got my first dose of the vaccine last week because I was contacted by CDC saying that someone from the event I attended to for LA Pride had a confirmed case.

The process itself was quick and painless nor do I have a scar BUT a week later, and my arm is still ******* sore. :deadbanana2:

I’ll be getting my second dose in three weeks!

Which brand did you have sis?

I am slightly surprised that this was not implemented earlier.

So anyone is yet to die from this? :rip: I don't understand what people are expecting here. Governments need to provide vaccines, but it's still gonna rip through the populations eventually. It seems benign enough so there's really not much else the government can do to stop the spread.

Sad part is they keep just throwing it on the gays. People arent gonna take it serious and gonna just blame gay men.

Omg that's crazy. I think I'm gonna try to get my hands on a vaccine just as a precaution

Lead author Dominik Nörz swabbed the surfaces of two rooms holding hospitalized monkeypox patients in Germany, and the adjacent anterooms, where staff would change in and out of personal protective equipment (PPE). The findings showed that all surfaces "directly touched" by the patients' hands had viral contamination. The scientists found the highest viral loads on the surfaces of the patients' bathrooms.
