Truly the peak of muslim homophobia. Most islam posers in Europe are only muslim when it comes to homophobia and sexism, but they drink alcohol, drugs, eat pig sub produce, etc. Also many countries shielding being islam not letting the gays in, but still sell alcohol and stuff on their territory.

Interesting but not surprising at all.

Obviously his religion doesn't accept LGBT. As long as he's not doing or saying homophobic, he should be allowed to be.

He is following his religion's rules.

Thoughts on the above?

I'm sure he's anti-gay, but is also probably afraid of the backlash within his community if he does wear it. Could be very dangerous for him, honestly.

Oh no, what an utter shock and surprise, considering that Islam is usually so well-known for being supportive of us. Death penalty for gays? Never heard of her.

However, the real joke are the gays on here still defending this misogynistic and homophobic ideology.

The very Christian Republicans of the United States have been passing laws to ban trans medical care and banning LGBT education in schools.

There are Muslims who are LGBT, there are Muslims who are feminists, just as there are many Christians who are homophobic and misogynistic and use the religion to justify their ideals (see the very real ongoing battle over abortion in the US).

Also when you blame the religion, you lift some of the responsibility from the individual themselves. I am not saying they aren't responsible for fostering bad ideals in people, or even that the religion doesn't deserve to be questioned (all religions do), but Islam is not the only religion that does this.

How so? There's also the argument that the religion says you should accept people's differences. Just sounds like a homophobic a**h*le to me

Yeah, and that's horrible as well and absolutely needs to be talked about, but these things aren't quite on the same level of severity. To my knowledge, there is no country that uses Christianity as an excuse for killing gay people, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Why the need to emphasize "Muslim" on the title?

He is SO bothered lmao. Some people just don't deserve kindness considering they don't show it to others. :shakeno:

Imagine missing a day of work because all of a sudden you don't want to wear the required uniform.

I'm from LATAM but it's sad to see more progressive/LGBT friendly countries giving space to this kind of behavior. I'm sure there are plenty of players just as good as him who would love to take his place.

Islam is anti-homosexuality.

Muslims are as well, hence 0 muslim countries have gay marriage, let alone any sort of lgbt protection  :michael:

The qrts mostly supporting him coming from Africans.. is so embarrassing to me as a African.

One of the reasons why I only interact with Africans/Black people from Western countries. :rip:
