There were a few years where they REALLY wanted to win and they came very close with Kristian, but their results the past couple of years have been disappointing. This “we’re not interested anymore” is either a stunt to get ESC stans to beg for them to return (like they do to Hungary and Turkey every year), and build hype. Besides that, it’s just diss respectful to the actual contest after all the other stunts they’ve pulled in the last few year - they’re desperate for a win despite being a supposedly destitute broadcaster. Byeeeee, don’t let the door hit y’all on the way out! Come back when you’re ready to not suck the fun out of the room. Sad to hear about Macedonia and Montenegro.
