Point is that 1 album charting higher than another(which is a re-recording) in 1 country =/= bigger artist. Daily Spotify streams Red TV - 3,943,136 (2021) 1989 - 3,838,964 (2014) Certified Lover Boy - 3,742,925 (2021) Lover - 3,705,014 (2019, outstreamed yesterday) Btw, Did CLB reach Evermore's WW units yet? Rev8 Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I mean..it's several factors Beyonce is kind of no longer doing anything mainstream..just side projects and doesnt really focus on serious stuff Rihanna..retired who else is there who is from the era where they can Sell and Stream? Gaga has not been the same since her debut days..Katy is maybe waiting for her first repeak (if it happens) I guess Ariana is the closest? but she get overexposed and just left the streaming girls as a whole, Dua,Billie,Olivia,Doja..but their discography is far too small to compete so it's like we are back in the several decades ago where pop girls werent really that big (and the difference is is that mostly rappers are smashing, while it was bands a lot of the times back then) ((but at least u had somewhat consistent slaying bands like Linkin Park,Coldplay (Green Day/Nickleback?), while today's rappers mostly last for a quick min (except Drake..Kendrick?)) odd state of things for Music also, Taylor is consistently releasing..and it's not like she just snapped and achieved all this like that. We know she is a strategy machine (ofc some of her fans always think this is a drag, but it's a reason) so she knew what she was doing and Is doing currently. Continually making her fans (and the ppl overall) stand on their toes Only Madonna had as much dedication to work so not surprised by the situation ..

That OTHs don't accept any form of validation towards Taylor? Y'all always complain about us using numbers, and then when we use anything else y'all still complain. So it sounds like you have an issue with anything at all that's positive for Taylor, and that's a you problem, not us
Great808 Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 She can’t compete with anyone with that lackluster stage presence, dry vocals, and bland songwriting
