Hug Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Well, as far as the album concept is concerned I can think of a couple artists that'd let me lean into that idea pretty well, and I 100% would not need to worry about them being picked three times. Still, the problem would be me pigeonholing myself into becoming...samey? I don't think the judges want a RAVAGED part 2 immediately and idk if I do either because low-key this is like the 4th sex pop bop I've written out of my 5 most recent songs.

For example, if someone picks an artist that the judges are unfamiliar with - what happens? I'm struggling to phrase my question but I hope this makes sense

This means that if you missed the Element challenge or just didn't click with that prompt but like the sound of the Studio Session challenge, you can still submit! Similarly, if the Studio Session prompt isn't inspiring to you, you can take the week off if you want and come back for Round 3. In either case, a non-submission will count as a "0" when determining your season average, so we always recommend submitting something even if it's not your best work, but ultimately the choice is yours, and it's not all about winning. I will contact the Top 3 from Round 1 to see who or what they would like on their tokens, and present them later in the week (or day, depending on how soon they get back to me!)
