 But like how cool that she's living her dream and meeting these cool people. She seems like a nice girl. Yes, the elephant in the room is Taylor and how she stopped mentioning her. But what Taylor did with the Deja Vu credit was completely uncalled for. I still am aghast that the same people who praise Taylor for speaking up about artists owning their work see no issue with her owning another artist's work that she had no part in creating. And no she did not invent shouting and no that should not be enough for a credit. The hypocrisy is astounding.

I remember that there was a reddit user who had tea about the credit situation weeks before the news even dropped. They made it seem like Olivia was pressured into giving credits to Taylor, Jack, and St. Vincent. If that’s true then yeah, it makes sense why Olivia is distancing herself. Taylor is my fav, but she’s a capitalist queen and Olivia is currently one of her main competitors. It’s sad, but that’s just how the music industry works.

or, get this... he is genuinely one of her idols who influenced her? especially for her growing up in the 2000s and the White Stripes/ Jack White being highly acclaimed and respected artists during that era

in said instances, having taylor credited on her song did nothing for olivia other than making her lose revenue. its not like they got up in the studio and had the time of their lives on a track that you see taylors name on now. someone was greedy and took advantage and now olivia cant stand her ass, like any person in her situation would
