But, again, people have made posthumous recordings before. Like I said, Drake did the same thing sampling an old MJ song, and Celine Dion did duets with old Frank Sinatra and Elvis recordings among other examples 

 

Even if you think that particular example is a stretch and shouldn’t count, Christina has sung with a ton of other legends. It’s not like Maria was the only example he had

You don’t see anyone listing the artists that Christina tribute to but doesn’t have a recording for. Christina has done tributes to Nina Simone And Tina Turner, but obviously that’s not listed as her singing with them, the way you’re Trying to say Gaga sang with Bowie because she did a tribute for him

I personally wouldn’t have thought of mentioning MJ since she’s done more than enough collaborations with other Legends, but at the same time if DMF was serious about it, I get where he’s coming from
