Is Xtina the artist who sang with the most legends?

The usual lack of logic from you :lmao: Singing a tribute for someone isn’t the same as a recording with that artists vocals.

You don’t see anyone listing the artists that Christina tribute to but doesn’t have a recording for. Christina has done tributes to Nina Simone And Tina Turner, but obviously that’s not listed as her singing with them, the way you’re Trying to say Gaga sang with Bowie because she did a tribute for him :rip:

Actually the post that YOU QUOTED said sang with and FOR. Reading comprehension is key, my love :celestial2:

Sampling someone's vocals =/= singing with them. Unless you count performing with a hologram as collaborating.

Posthumous collaboration are still considered singing with them. Celine Dion did duets with old samples of Frank Sinatra and Elvis because they’re obviously dead and they’re still considered duets

Is sampling the word Maria from an old Jackson 5 song considered a duet? Kanye has sampled hundreds of old songs in his career, are they all duets? Is this like Moves Like Jagger being a solo Xtina song again?

No, it’s not one word sampled :lmao:Clearly you don’t know what you’re talking about. You can hear him actually singing the song in the same pitch. It’s not even like one of those pitch and screwed sample.

And you can even be credited for way less than that. Mario Winians And P Didddy credit a sample of Enya and she’s just humming

Rolling Stones

Tony Bennett

Madonna

Britney Spears

Sting

Impressive the amount of legends she's sung with :clap3:

The backtracking :lmao:The point is you tried to claim Gaga sang with Bowie and Julie Andrews whether live or on a recording and it never happened and tried to pivot, acting like singing a tribute for them was the same thing :lmao:

Of course you credit a sample, otherwise it's stealing. Is sampling the same as doing a duet though? Hmm, something to ponder

Backtracking? It's literally in the post you quoted in black and white. Don't blame me if you can't read :gaycat2:

The topic said singing with legends not for, so if you have to include tributes for, then you already knew you didn’t have a case  :gaycat2:

I'm an Xtina fan, but I wouldn't count her sampling a Jackson 5 song as a collab with MJ.

She has enough actual, physical collabs that there shouldn't be a need to count those.

And no, you can't count TRIBUTES as collabs like other users are doing with their faves. :rip:

OP forgot to mention Tony Bennett:

Andrea Bocelli:

Sampling a dead MJ is not singing with him :deadbanana2:

I didn’t count anything that wasn’t singing live on stage with the artist if you mean me. Except Tony but they were in the studio together.

Surely being asked to honor a legend in their presence or the presence of their family is a higher honor than paying to sample a song from the 70s :gaycat2:

No, I was referring to that Gaga fan who counted her singing a tribute for Bowie as her singing WITH Bowie, which is what this post is about.

And Mariah probably has more collabs, but it's no suprise since she's a living legend.

Yes and with an unmatched voice - who wouldn't want to sing with that :jonny:

Then looks like Christina got that “higher honor” too since she  was asked to honor Michael Jackson in the company of his family too :gaycat2:

And even getting a sample of Michael Jackson on record is an honor too. Christina has talked about how it was very difficult to get a sample of him but because Kanye West was affiliated with the song he was able to make it happen.

She was? When did she sing for the family?

Idk but Britney has sang with more legends than xtina:

MJ, Madonna, DC, Beyoncé, jlo, U2, bono, MJB, Aerosmith, Shakira (during a photo shoot), Mariah, Pink, herself on everytime, etc, etc, etc. Honestly there’s too many to count.

Don't forget Xtina singing with the ultimate legend, herself, as mentioned in the OP. Surely that trumps all.
