TS10 - Because of massive hype despite less tracks than the re-recordings . pavi Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 (edited) Not to discredit any album getting over 100 million streams in a day, cause that will always be much, but the amount of Spotify users has grown about 20% each year the last couple of years. If that trend continues, it's becoming more and more likely for artists to break the 100 million mark (or any other previously set record, for that matter). Getting 100 million streams in 24h in 2019 would be 'more impressive' than it is now, for example. Purple Land Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 are you guys aware that (despite being huge artists and having 20+ tracks in the album), the reason BB and Drake are able to hit these numbers is because of Spotify’s huge campaign - playlists, opening the platform for free users, etc.?
