Ibrahim Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Oh man, I love 90s RnB. But it's easy to say that when RnB was dominating the charts so it's easy to access/be exposed to. These days, you really have to actively seek it out if you don't consume the radio anymore. But I love listening to suggested tracks because you can sometimes find some really good modern RnB gems.
Ibrahim Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 This is early 2000's but can we appreciate this live performance of Spoiled from Joss Stone on the Jay Leno show?

jdanton2 Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) 90's R&B was much better than 2000's R&B.it was more melodic and did not have all the auto tune. Edited May 4, 2022 by jdanton2
Armani? Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Can listen to No Ordinary Love for a hour on repeat and not get sick of it
NausAllien Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I miss the era of slow R&B jams. The smoothness of the vocals, the harmonies, the romanticism, the lyrics, the flow... it was so perfect.
americanlife Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 That’s because the people were better, kinder, prettier, weren’t stuck on cellular devices all day, had better taste in music, not as lazy, etc.
KLatz Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 90s R&B is some of the best music ever. Everyone was serving classics back then
