Baby Judas Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Finally, after months of having #1s with just around 50k sales.
Askeroff Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Hollywood Bleeding did almost 500k (300k was from a stream alone) so 250k seems very real Edited May 4, 2022 by Askeroff

I don't see any of the other big girls releasing this year since they're busy with other things, Dua is touring, Ariana is working on her movie, Rihanna is pregnant and lazy, Gaga will be touring and the only one left is Bey but we don't know anything about her releases most of time. But that is the thing. We only have maybe 5 MPGs who regularly release total these days. Meanwhile there are 5 major male releases in the next 2 months. There is definitely an imbalance. Green Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 They are predicting more for Jack than Bad Bunny? I hope they are right about it

All of them can go #1 with a good rollout. Adele releases very sporadically. RiRi well... 3 out of the 5 male releases you mention haven't released albums in 3 years or so. With that said, there absolutely is an imbalance.
Gerardo Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Bad bunny is being underestimated, he did 175k in 2020 with 20 tracks, this time he’ll have have 23 tracks and he’s way bigger, he’ll push 200k Post is being overestimated, he’ll debut above 120k but not close to 200k I think the rest are accurate
BIAATCH Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Bad Bunny predictions will probably increase after the release

Martyr Of Fame Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Kendrick could do a lot better with (vinyl) preorders
Letemtalk Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 How many of them had the album recorded and produced in 2021 and enough time for mixing, mastering, vinyl production and distribution in May 2022, or are some relying on streaming, digital and CDs?

Idk about the rest, but Harry’s album is ready to go physically in multiple formats on release day. When you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.
britxbrit Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I feel like they're overestimating Post and Jack and underestimating Kendrick. Weird.
GreatestLoveofAll Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 I agree with the OP- had First Class not gone viral basically first week then the battle for #1 between Jack and BB would be much stiffer and I still think BB can pull an upset once the streaming #s come out. Post hasnt had anything stick since 2020 so maybe 200k would be more feasible if his fanbase is loyal.
Mr. Duff Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Bunny will probably do more than Jack. Love Post, but I don't think he'll even make 200k. 120k-150k would be my prediction for him. I'd love to be proven wrong though. I feel like Kendrick can push 500k. Harry's one I agree, although he may do more given how he got more massive since the last release.

Everyone is understimating him and it is really infuriating when the guy is one of the biggest stars in the world.

Yuanyu Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 I think it's pretty clear that bad bunny is going to be #1.
PopFan1996 Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Bad Bunny just hit #1 on US Apple Music and it's not even his strongest streaming platform. The Spotify numbers will be insane There's no way he will debut with less than Jack Harlow's numbers. Predicting 200-300k for his album. Jack Harlow 100-150k.
