The ads are ******* annoying I’m getting big anime boobs on every page??? (and I know ads are tailored etc but I live in Japan so what can I do)

It made me realise how I’ve never considered how the site was surviving for the past decade I’ve spent here ddd

Ads, with the 503 it can be damn near impossible to even access the site sometimes :toofunny3: I have been getting an insane amount of Shein ads and one that looks like a p*rno but it's some masseuse in the area tho :rip:

503, my ads are about some Sony wireless buds :giraffe:

you can block ads but you can't block 503. let that sink in.

Just got 2 503s opening this thread :rip:

503s are so annoying but the ads opening a new tab of advertising when you click a thread are the WORST

Without those 503s are much worse ngl

there's ads on this site now?

I have not seen any ad and I'm so confused when people talk about them in threads? I'm only on my phone and in Europe if that changes anything...

I would always say 503 tho cause you can just refresh the page. Ads are trash anywhere...

I just don’t like the pop-up ads. Display ads are fine, but pop-up ads are annoying and really cheapen the website IMO. No one wants to deal with those. I actually stopped visiting Billboard.com completely because of the incessant pop-ups. And I’m too much of a grandma to figure out how to install ad block.

We don’t have pop up ads. The full screen ads can be closed out and I already requested that they be removed bc I don’t like them.

ATRL+ members will be immune from seeing ads in a few weeks.

In a few months members will only see ads like once or twice a day.

they’re mainly for guests.

I don’t really distinguish between pop up ads and full screen ads that “pop up” and cover my entire screen that I have to close out of when I try to click on a thread, they may as well be the same thing and have a similar effect. But I’m glad to hear you’ve requested they be removed! I honestly don’t mind display ads for a service that I can access for free and support them if that’s what ATRL has to do to keep running.

The ads are nowhere near as bad as the 503 error. I remember refreshing threads like 5 times before they would load and it would still take almost 30 seconds to load sometimes. The ads are bearable.

Ads?

I mean, YES, the ads. They're pretty non-intrusive, so I guess the 503 errors are worse.
