Alongoria13
It's crazy how Madonna holds the record of the biggest attendance of the 10s for a female artist in North America (the Plains of Abraham show) in a decade with Beyoncé and specially Taylor Swift

suburbannature
I'm actually not sure. I guess: 1996 Tokyo Dome x 3 (50k each) 1998 Tokyo Dome x 4 (50k each) 1999 Seoul 54k the five stadiums in China in 2014 were between 50k and 80k each, I think Hawaii 1998 had 31k She set quite a few records in Asia for someone who is not a huge touring act and never toured much in her prime years. wastedpotential
I really do believe Taylor is going to obliterate these numbers the next time she tours, the demand is insanely high, and it's going to be a bloodbath to get tickets By Gross: 1. NRG Stadium, Houston, TX, September 29, 2018 (Reputation Stadium Tour) - $9,350,275 (highest grossing female date in US history) *2. Also, I probably missed a date somewhere while trying to dig this up.

I mean I'm not doubting Taylor's touring power, esp. in the US and Japan. I think she could definitely match those numbers in markets like Seattle, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Houston, possibly Japan... but you're making it sound easier than it actually is. I mean, Madonna's 2008 one Wembley date out-grossed Reputation's two Wembley dates by $2m Not trying to discredit Taylor, btw, I know she's the biggest touring force of her generation. As for Madonna's top 10 by attendance: Paris France Parc de Sceaux, 1987 131,100 / 131,100 Rio de Janeiro Estádio do Maracanã, 1993 120,000 / 120,000 São Paulo Estádio do Morumbi, 1993 86,000 / 86,000 Helsinki Jätkäsaari, 2009 85,354 / 85,354 Horsens Forum Horsens Arena, 2006 85,232 / 85,232 Athens Olympic Stadium, 2008 75,637 / 75,637 London Wembley Stadium, 1990 225,000 / 225,000 (75,000 each) Lisbon Parque da Bela Vista, 2008 75,000 / 75,000 =883,323 tickets from 10 shows That's an average audience of 88,332 Edited April 30, 2022 by Jjang
