The Capitol is recovering from the uprising. It's basically a war zone. As opposed to the lavish aesthetic in Katniss' time.

Tbh, if this movie does well, I can see them starting a franchise of different Hunger Games. Haymitch or a Finnick one would probably be next.

Currently on chapter 13. I'm enjoying the book so much. It's bringing me back to when I first read the first book. 

 

I don't know if it gets worse or better but so far, I don't get some of the comments saying it's bad. It's as good and exciting as the trilogy imo. I'm so curious to see how everything develops. 

 

Love discovering the background of characters like Snow or Tigris. I had no idea they were so related. Did they ever mention it? Maybe I forgot it. It's been a while since the last time I read the trilogy. 

 

Am I the only one who likes Snow now? I hope he fucks it up at some point because I don't want to feel any kind of sympathy for him.  

 

Also, to get to know the Games like this is amazing. I'm enjoying every single detail.
