It's very strange how the cast did no interview rollout with different outlets for SDCC, not even individual red carpet interviews. I was also expecting panel interviews with IGN, MTV, Entertainement Weekly etc ... but nothing. They came for the Hall H panel and that's it.  

 

Very weird strategy from HBO.

Especially since Netflix with "The Sandman" and Amazon with "Rings of Power" did the opposite, there's tons of interview, both casts stayed for a few days and were everywhere. Hopefully it's because of the World Premiere in 2 days.

This season will be longer than any GoT season released so far by total runtime.

With the longest season of GoT being S2 (567 minutes total, compared to 618 minutes for HOTD S1). We about to eat good.

These titles are already better than the majority of the S7-8 titles.  Winterfell, The Last Of The Starks, The Bells, The Iron Throne, Dragonstone, Eastwatch, and Beyond The Wall were so lame and uninspired (just like the last 2 seasons themselves )

 

These are giving much more S1-4, aside from Driftmark.

I don't want to say too much for spoilers, but if you just look at the cast list on Wikipedia, there is Fabien Frankel under Main and quite a few more under Recurring.  And some of those recurring stars will be elevated in the future.

I just finished the book!  The story is awesome, the cast is perfect and everything looks great so far!  

 

I was disappointed after GOT's final but I have a deep feeling that Condal & Sapochnik will do a game-changer series  I haven't been this excited for a book adaptation since Catching Fire

I have a question but I'll put it in spoilers just in case

I see that the character Aegon II is only listed as a recurring character while the civil war is between him and his half sister Rhaenyra. Could it be that the actual war will be happening in a later season and he will take a more prominent role?
