In some countries (like Mexico) we are taught in school that there's only one American continent (from Canada to Argentina) and it's called "America".

 

In other countries they separate North America and South America as two different continents.

 

There's no correct answer to this TBH. It totally depends on where you live.

 

Answering the question I'm from Mexico, so I'm from America/North America.
