BTS is coming in June, they need to do something with the remixes, if not everything will be pointless.

the way billboard wouldn't have done anything if armys kept butter at #1 for only one or two weeks 

 

but they decided to be greedy and steal 10+ weeks from organic songs and now it backfired  they will probably never get a multi week #1 ever again

It’s time we get rid of the Billboard charts all together. It’s way too radio driven. The Spotify global numbers are way more interesting to look at because they give a way more accurate result of what is being consumed by the public

No limiting. Ban it from the charts. It counts all as the same song and that's that. If it's the same song for the chart then it's the same song for bulk buying. You can only buy the song once and have it count for the charts. It still counts for certification and that's that.

they were going above and beyond just to block olivia, that's how much they hate her  

 

after the first few weeks they were spending thousands of dollars solely to block olivia from #1 NOT because they want their "boys" to be #1

 

i still remember them celebrating blocking good 4 u from #1 every week instead of celebrating their faves being #1

Not only that but they turned basically every single stan of every artist against them, and for what? Still no Grammy

As someone who's fav is currently #1 on Global smashing above everyone else (and has been for almost three weeks), I disagree. I think radio is okay, Apple Music should count, etc. What they need to change is the dynamic on radio. You can't have songs that are years old still hogging the charts. Move it along. If they did nobody would have a problem with it, the radio is still listened more than Spotify.

They were aiming for Song of the Summer actually, dragging Olivia was just a bonus 

This mess was also why My Universe got dropped by them after Week 1, they didn't had enough funds. Ironically, the song is shaping up to become their biggest and most organic hit after Dynamite

Y'all saying this sucks for Nicki/Barbs when they literally just mass buy week 1... She will still have huge debuts but still 0 longevity since this de-incentivizes buying in subsequent weeks.

 

BTS will still have their 100-150K sales first week since they drop songs with 6 remixes, instrumentals, acapellas and all that.... But it'll just stunt longevity on the charts which is still a good thing. I'm sure their insane fans will find a way to circumvent this but we'll see. As others have stated, Idk how they'd be able to track it this aggressively without huge mistakes but time will tell
