Because this is the woman who can sing live. She can rock out in a latex bikini doing stripper moves, then sit at a piano. then SCAT out a jazz tune. N

Because she was a cultural phenomenon at her peak, it’s been long enough for some nostalgia to kick in, and “Shallow” was recent enough to also draw in non stans of the first phase of her career

Gaga is talented and ambitious, she used her floppage to reinvent herself and it worked, now she's pretty much a legend (one that I love to drag, but still).
