I mean, successful collabs yes. Not ones that charted for 9 weeks and only went platinum stateside. Its about collabing and actually pulling it off once your past 34!

And sorry my fave hasn’t been successful recently. Shame on her for being in an abusive conservatorship 18 minutes ago, GraceRandolph said: Which is difficult to get Omg need to rewatch this. Zoe, Taryn Shonda, Queen Britney. An all star cast its been 10 minutes @Mr. Stratus@GraceRandolph where y’all at? No more pictures to share? Edited April 21, 2022 by Istan4R Edit

Archetype Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 She was so close but she just had to release ARTPOP and all of the drama that came with it. The media really was out to completely destroy her that era, it was sad. The fact that she’s actually more famous now and has a huge fanbase is iconic. We love legends who grow and try new things!
Erreur2 La Nature Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 She’s been popular from 2009 till the beginning of 2011, I would not call her the queen of pop lol

Kinda agree with this, like every pop girls get called queen or princess of pop when they secure 1 or 2 hits…

MadMax12 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 It started with the edge of glory music video when she began pushing away her professional team. Since then, she lost her visual power which was her main appeal. It was always going to be impossible to maintain the stardom she had - the gp and media don’t like seeing someone at the top for more than 3 years

BGXKB Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 (edited) Artpop ended her LMs are so delusional why are they ignoring the chart here? She fell COMPLETELY OFF after the FIRST ALBUM. Edited April 21, 2022 by BGXKB
John Slayne Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 That title has always belonged to Madonna. Gaga was the pop prophecy girl, the same way Britney was and Billie is currently.

Generation Braindead Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 When she released ArtPop it didn’t live up to the hype commercially and underperformed compared to Bad Romance and Telephone.

Britney’s debut sold just as many without a reissue and she more than maintained that success over 10+ years. If anyone but Madonna is still Queen of Pop it’s Britney. The LMs completely ignored Britney’s graph looking exponentially better. edit: I would also allow Beyoncé, Rihanna, or Taylor to share that crown with Britney don’t come for me but Britney kind of IS on a different level from them having started out creating perfect pop music on her FIRST album which the other girls only did three or so albums in. But, again, all four of them can SHARE the crown. But Britney is the one who’s really wearing it. Edited April 21, 2022 by BGXKB

americanlife Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Her antics got annoying. After the Jo Calderone mess at the VMAs, the GP was like “yeah, this is annoying”. And these days, she isn’t always the nicest lady. She was better back then and more appreciative.

Her side jazz albums sold her residency tickets 1.5m per night gross (highest ever) or won a grammy. Also:
