The way everything I said was absolutely right unless you want to get technical over less than 1 million copies between ASIB and Circus. :bibliahh:

I bet most LMs don’t even know they’re that close. :psych:

Bullshit. You said Circus outsold ASIB in total units, you were flat-out wrong (and it's actually slightly more than 1M units, not less than 1M). You also said Femme Fatale outsold Artpop, when ARTPOP outsold it both in pure album sales and overall units, so you were wrong again.

Just take the L

Femme Fatale obviously outsold Artpop especially taking in singles success and its one’s seventh versus one’s third studio album it’s not even a fair comparison and Britney is still WINNING :jonnycat:

You seem like a person that cannot admit when they were wrong. Artpop's CSPC units, which take into account all the singles and streaming and sales, are higher. End of.

google still says she is the new queen of pop, so never i guess

There's no such thing as a Queen of Pop right now and it's unlikable there will evere be another. Taylor is the most succesful woman right now, but I'd argue that she's just the one with more fans and hasn't got a grip on the general public like Madonna, Britney or Gaga at her peak had. There's a difference, and I'm not trying to diminish her results, this is mostly due to the deep changes that affected pop culture, music and entertainment industry in the last 10 years.

In a way you could say that Gaga was the last Queen of Pop.

The Queen of Pop wore a black lace corset top and a black thong in the ten-second clip, accessorising with silver crucifixes.

this article is from yesterday.

looks like the media only knows one queen and that's MADONNA, biaaaaaaaaa***

10 pages for a stupid title

Gaga was at some point as Dua Lipa is right now.

Im confused by this. Is this supposed to be good?

She never was but BTW alienated alot of ppl and made her lose the "cool" factor that she had back then.

Madonna still is

…but Gaga is the Queen of the Entertainment Industry :gaygacat4:

I think the Born This Way era just kind of broke Gaga’s relationship with radio too tbh. She’s never really been welcomed back even after hits and radio friendly songs like The Cure that could’ve been spammed a bit.

Applause was her biggest radio hit tho :giraffe:

Its Judas that ruined everything and her being messy and not mysterious anymore. The Born this way foundation factor and too many interviews also made her mystery cool factor vanish. She was speaking too much about her tragedies at the wrong point in her career, with an album that was dark and mysterious, yet that should have been for a bubblegum pop album or folk music album.

No it wasn’t at all, this is some bull that the monsters keep repeating. The only reason some people say that is because it technically had the highest audience number because of how things were calculated at the time, which is always a bit of a crap shot. In real terms it only peaked at number four on Pop radio well below her other number one hits, and also had less longevity than many of them. Poker face, just dance, bad Romance were way more played on the radio than it, and especially globally. She has only had one top 10 pop radio hit since, Rain On Me, for one week at #10 and only thanks to Ariana let’s be real.

Because radio was bigger in 2013 than it was in 2010. There’s no way Applause was more played than her earlier hits.

Imagine expecting a 30 yo female Popstar still having Pop radio push :skull:

Y all say anything at this point :toofunny3:

Even Shallow who is the epitome of organic success wasnt supported by radio when it was smashing on other music consumption platforms....

She never was tho. The same way no one has been King of Pop since MJ. And tbh does she even have to be? She's dominating 2 industries that's more than being Queen of certain genre. :clap3:

King of Pop is Justin Bierber or Bruno Mars, but now maybe the Weeknd

Remember when she was on top of the world and the rest were just there watching her?

What went wrong?

she lost it when she established herself as an icon, a legend, and always the moment.
