Johnny may be able to work with some big names again due to the support he has now.

That's not really how studios work. He was FIRED after losing the UK trial in the middle of shooting because they didn't want to deal with any bad publicity, even though he had a ton of support back then. There are many YOUNGER actors even more talented than Depp that do NOT have the baggage he has, so why would any studio risk even a 10% of bad publicity by hiring him when they can hire someone healthier, younger and more talented?

Aquaman will be Amber's last big thing if she's still in it, after that nobody would even touch her with a ten foot pole. Johnny may be able to work with some big names again due to the support he has now.

Until he gets drunk on set and has to be fed lines again. Then everyone will remember why they actually stopped hiring him.

Not really, things looked 50/50 on each side back then, now it's unanimous on his side. And this is Hollywood we are talking about, we've seen tons of old creeps and abusers quietly make comebacks, I doubt people would stop themselves when it comes to Johnny. Do I think he'll work with something as big as Disney again? No. But there are definitely people out there who may be interested in doing something with him.

Also people seem to be forgetting he has another trial in July. The crew member he punched twice on set is suing him.

Do people think any studio would risk hiring him? He's almost 60. They can find younger and better talent without all the baggage he has.

even Mel Gibson made a successful comeback. Johnny can still stage a comeback because of just how big of a star he still is.

Amber was never big to begin with and this whole ordeal ended any sort of goodwill she has with the GP.

hope she invested her money wisely :rip:

I don't see either of them staging real comebacks tbh. But maybe Johnny will appear on a few The Daily Wire segments to thank them for how much they spent giving him good publicity during this trial!

Exactly, Mel Gibson received Oscar nominations after his controversies. And when has being old stopped men from working in Hollywood? We aren't talking about actresses, sadly this is how the world works. :busted:

I can't with the Camille slander. She has been killing it all trial.

Whether you like her or not, she is the breakout star and has been very effective. So much so, many of the people in the courtroom have stated the jurors have been behaving favorably towards her over ALL of the other attorneys. Doesn't matter if you don't like it, the jurors do.

Major disagree. I think I'd like her in real life but she's playing way too hard to the TV / TiKTok audience

I could NOT DISAGREE more. She's a star for the TikTok generation that doesn't care about facts but clickbait and sassy clapbacks. She's behaved in an unprofessional manner throughout the trial, but especially these past few days.

And you don't know what the jurors are thinking. You are not in their head. For what I've heard, most jurors have been extremely stoic and showing almost no emotion throughout the trial.

Funny that you say that!

People who are in the courtroom have been noticing the same thing from the jurors. Their reactions are less towards Johnny or Amber but more towards which attorneys they like best. Regardless they are saying that the jurors today are taking their jobs very seriously.

I think Rottenborn's closing may win them this case and Johnny wins nothing. He made excellent points based on the law.

Camille is a sick and twisted woman. She should share a jail cell with Depp.

"Mr. Depp OWNS his mistakes" this is actually kinda true, we saw countless of his texts apologizing for abuse :chick2:

Camille conveniently leaving out emotional abuse and saying "innocent until proven guilty" when DEPP has the burden of proof :deadbanana4:

What is she even talking about? Innocent until proven guilty? This is a civil trial and he has the burden of proof for his claim.

Heard had 4-5 witnesses "weeping" over the bruises and emotional abuse they witnessed, so why does she keep mentioning Isaac like it holds more weight.
