After Hours - #35 (re-entry) (81 weeks)

Dawn FM - #37 (-5) (14 weeks)

The Highlights - #60 (-54) (61 weeks)

The highlights dropped because the SPS of the After Hours and Starboy singles counted for the original albums instead. That's why After Hours and Starboy re-entered

But for next week The Highlights is predicted to jump to #6 again according to HDD

yeah I know, but what gave both AH & SB a push for them to be bigger this week which led them to get the sps of the songs that they share with the highlights, if it was for this week's chart it would've been more understandable since the coachella set might've reignited interest in the albums as a whole, but this chart is for last week...

Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost

TOP 20: TYLER, THE VINYL CREATOR

Tyler, The Creator leaps back to #1 this week following the D2C-only vinyl release of Call Me If You Get Lost (Columbia). Morgan Wallen's Dangerous (Big Loud/Republic) remains at #2 this week, boosted by the release of non-album track "Don't Think Jesus." Rush’s classic, Moving Pictures (Mercury via UMe), gets a 40th anniversary release selling enough for a likely Top 15 entry. With the lack of any major new releases this week, albums from Luke Combs, Pop Smoke, and Post Malone move back into the Top 20 while Lil Baby’s My Turn (Quality Control/Motown) gets a shot at the Top 10.

How are they doing this?

I mean, I understand that if 2 albums share the same songs (ex: Highlights and AH), the one with higher SPS gets the SPS from the singles (aka shared songs).

But, what if The Highlights has more SPS than AH but not more if it doesn't include Starboy's singles?

Such a pointless mess.

The way LNX just abandoned Montero like it was an unwanted child. That’s What I Want became a cute hit overall with longevity and he’s just working on something else.

I believe that is wrong.

IIRC, whichever album sells the most is the one that gets a song's streaming points.

Oh wait:

That's confusing but possibly answers your question?

Morgan Wallen is such a disgusting ugly hick :rip: The way this rat has been infesting the top of the BB200 since he released. Enough already.

Seriously one of the most disgusting pieces of **** I've ever seen

Billie #14 :clap3:

The album has been quietly holding on very well and having great longevity. I believe "Happier Than Ever" the song is also still Top 20 on Spotify with both versions combined. So much for a flop era and thinking she was no longer relevant. It only takes one song that really connects.

So they exclude the songs that are on both albums and look at that SPS. Sales, plus streams from songs which are only on one abum, and then add the shared songs to the album which is higher without them

i think the question was about an album (highlights) that has songs from several different albums on it.

the only reasonable solution i can think of is to look at just the album sales, but bb may disagree with me.

Yes I know that that was the question?! I tried to clarify what that tweet said, but guess I didnt.

They look at pure sales and streams from the songs that are only on 1 album and with The Highlights having no original songs I guess it needs to have more pure sales than After Hours has pure sales plus streams from the non singles? Seems weird though that the pure sales are that much higher than After Hours for The Highlights to almost always have all the streaming points, but maybe not.

It being 3 or more albums doesnt really make it more complicated. Just step by step, removing every song at first that is on more than 1 album and going from there. Starting with the 2 biggest albums
