Because the Spears fanbase has been bitter about her since 2009/10 when she eclipsed their fave, and they started using Kesha's receipts against her and haven't stopped since. This place is a little out of touch bubble of the internet where "Spears must be protected at all costs!!"

It’s not really about Gaga. It’s about the fans being cocky all the time. I love Katy but yeah she had the biggest decline i ever witnessed. Gaga had her decline but that happens to most pop girls.

Because liddos blindly and delusionally go after any artist in order to perpetuate that delusion they have in their heads that Gaga is still ruling the world like she did more than a decade(!) ago, so all their fanbases get together to take a collective dump on her any chance they get. It's 2022 and liddos still can't get this through their thick skulls

Nnnnn. All these people focusing on blaming the liddos for their own issues and hatred towards Lady Gaga. Apparently we are the Taliban of pop and must be stopped. In reality people are just pressed that Gaga didn’t turn into Xtina 2.0 and actually found ways to thrive, and many of their favs declined as well.

Yep. This is a big part of it. Especially places like ATRL. It’s just the “cool thing” to hate on Gaga, and a lot of these haters have internalized homophobia and take it out on Gaga. She is a reflection of what they hate about themselves.

Or that time they bullied every leading actress during award season because they thought Best Actress was on lock for Gaga.

 

And clearly you did not the get memo with the way some of you are hyping up that Top Gun song as Gaga’s next Shallow.  

So liddos are the only base to ever do anything wrong? Who cares if we are excited for our fave and celebrate her success. The fact that you are keeping tabs on our base to this extent just speaks to you being unfulfilled by whoever you cape for on her. take that chart from ChartMasters OGH love to post showing Gaga's decline. no one ever mentions that it goes up to 40m since TF/M was so huge, making the rest of her sales look small. Rihanna's caps out at 25m while Katy Perry and Taylor "The Music Industry" Swift's cap out at 20m

This, unfortunately. Gaga hasn't been in the top tier of MPGs since like 2011 and her stans can't accept it

The way this thread had nothing to do with Britney yet you somehow still managed to bring her up  I think it's someone else who's bitter.
