Bloodflowers. Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 When do gays finally become happy? Or are we depressed our whole lives? Asking for a friend

Protocol Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Tops become happy when they hit their early/mid 30s, are in a stable career owning their condo with good income, their bodies have fully filled out and are muscular and hairy, and have an inexhaustible supply of willing bottoms. That lasts until they're in their early 50s at most, when their bodies really start to age. For anyone not in that demographic, there's anti depressants available.
smartalek22 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 My happiness is as close as a Sky Ferreira album release

TheFameCurse Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 You don't find it. You shape it. Ok. By for now, sunshine.

postsus Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 (edited) Late 20s when all insecurities are gone. I’m so ready for my 30s. Edited April 16, 2022 by postsus
The Next Day Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I don't think happiness is sth you "find", it's a temporary emotional state. Sadness (or rather the absence of happiness) is necessary to feel happiness or else you wouldn't know how happiness feels in comparison to sadness. There's no stage in life that's purely composed of happiness. There will always be happiness, sadness and a lot of inbetween in our lives. We have no choice but to deal with those changes. So, I would rather ask the question "When did you learn how to cope with your emotions?" cause learning to handle sadness seems very hard while being the best option we have.
Bubble Tea Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Happiness is an emotion - not a permanent state of being. Contentment is the most you could ever hope to be I believe, with flashes of happiness amongst other things as part of your daily life.
Jynx672 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I'm 27 and relatively happy, actually. I got my degree and am working on getting another one, found a well-paid and fulfilling job, was able to move from a small student room to an actual apartment, have a small group of great friends, and am no longer a virgin as of last year. I have my insecurities and things I don't like about myself, but I've given up on thinking I need to change everything about myself to be accepted by others, as people turn out to like me just fine the way I am.

Totami Legend Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I accepted the fact that I can have only little glimpses of happiness during the day long. I’m not meant to be fully happy
