Adele's 30 yeets out of top 50.

Pride comes before the fall. All this talk of "Ed should be worried not me, ha!", "They don't make stars like me and others from my generation anymore", "I cancelled my residency a day before when people had already flown because 'my heart wouldn't have been in it'", the hogging the vinyl factories thinking they would sell like last time, diva tantrum when an Australian reporter had not listened to her album....it all catches up to you.

The public has seen through her I'm just a regular cockney mum just like you, what's a Tik Tok?? act and the petulant, spoiled diva beneath has emerged. It takes a lot of ego, disregard for others and selfishness to cancel a residency one day before it was due to begin because you couldn't put on a smile for a performance that you were being paid millions for.

DEMOTED! from Michael Jackson level mega-seller to just another successful pop star, well below the top albums of recent years like FN, Sour, After Hours in overall units and the gap will only get bigger as its stalling on streaming. Her next album is going to give Norah Jones career trajectory teas.

Damn. This really was the perfect time for her to re-invent, huh? She should've done something controversial and go out with a bang (released her Erotica or BTW). I really REALLY thought her recycling her trusty formula 3 times in a row would still work in her favor, but it obviously did not work anymore with all the Olivias in this current music setting.

At least Adele got a hit, something Taylor hasn't really had since Style :lmao:

At least say IDWLF so your trolling makes some sense.

OT: Tragic for Adele!

I don't get this thing about Taylor not having a hit in ages. "Willow" was released less than a year and a half ago, peaked at #1, #1 on Hot AC radio, #55 on the Year-End Hot 100, is that not a hit?

it's desperation cuz the girl they used to hide behind to drag Taylor is bombing now so they're resorting to lies and exaggerations.

Ngl the longevity is having is not good like at all and it’s more than obvious the gp didn’t click with the album, which kinda debunks the “she keeps doing the same album” because if that was the case the album would still be top 10 like 21 and 25

it makes sense but it also makes sense that the gp realised the album is very similar to 21 and 25 and thats why they dont want to consume the music

if it actually falls out of top 50:rip: i mean how can you sell so much in a few weeks and be the top selling album of 2021 and then already fall out of top 40 in a few months

Well it's 3Over:coffee:

This proves that the GP is over her. She has shown no growth at all and I hope the Grammys don’t reward it next year. The next time she releases an album, the hype will be cut in half. The GP was excited about her new music for a few weeks, then just lost interest quickly after and seem bored by her. That’ll carry over to the next album era.

You mean once Easy On Me stopped getting spammed on the radio and TTH :rip:

This era is a colossal bomb. Adele will be lucky if her next album performs like Norah Jones’ third album. She’d also be lucky to be half as good a singer, but that’s another story.

Are you implying EOM wasn't an organic hit? Its easily one of the biggest songs of 2021/22 and everybody knows it, reaching 1 billion streams on Spotify soon :rip:

Why wouldn't an Adele comeback lead single get a major push on streaming and radio? You all have no idea what you are talking about :dies:

After seeing Silk Sonic win four awards for one song — following Bruno’s general field sweep just a few years prior, and Anderson collecting multiple solo Grammys in a short amount of time — even if 30 is nominated for AOTY, it’s not winning.

Let’s hope you're right. An album like 30 really doesn't deserve to win AOTY.

This is beyond underwhelming for Adele, no way to spin this and I’m not sure why her team hasn’t released a new single/video yet when OMG has been done for months.

Her next album needs to come in the next 2 years with a new sound or it will be another huge decline.

Yeah this is not looking good. I knew she was never going to replicate 25 phenomenal success cause anyone thinking that would be clearly ignorant.

But i thought she would secure the 10M - 12M SPS at least, which is very unlikely to happen now.

Too bad cause i really enjoyed the album, way more than 25 that felt too calculated.

How is it doing internationally though? cause she has the luxury to have a dedicated audience in Europe and Oceania

BTW sold a million first week please don't make that comparison :rip:

800k in 2021 >>>> 1mil in 2011 (with a $1 deal) which makes it even more embarrassing for 30

OT: 30 already outsold most of those albums.

So it's a massive fad?

Truly a fad. Sold all of its copies on the 3 first weeks and then no one else bothered to listen to it again.

Not people comparing Gaga’s most controversial album to this milquetoast effort from Adele. :toofunny3:

Oh God ! Not it being out of the Top 20 already in the biggest markets :deadbanana:

Horrible situation in the UK, France, Germany,  Australia

The Netherlands still loyal to her though since “19“ :clap3:

It will be lucky to reach the 7M SPS when all is said and done

it’s 2022, with people having the shortest attention span. you can’t just release and call it a day it doesn’t work that way anymore. if she doesn’t plan on putting the work in then just retire nobody’s missing you sweetie we have dixie damelio and bella poarch to fill in the gaps

Lol. Y'all make up all kinds of ****.

"Easy on Me" is more of less the same, but 30 itself is probably Adele's most unconventional album and everybody except fairy men on ATRL acknowledges that.  It's probably why EOM was so successful and "OMG" was a commercial dud.
