Circus I have not used anything from that album in YEARS 

 

and IASF too, the ballads are still cute but the Sasha part is so dated especially single ladies it’s literally unlistenable this decade

Dragging my math skills and then stating it was 5x more successful than its predecessor which means it sold like over 12M when it barely did better..... OK

This does not include streaming units. CSPC Circus has moved nearly 3 million more units. You don’t repeak like that and then literally have one of your biggest eras just two years later if you failed.

Yeah which is still not 5x more successful , it sold on par with Hard Candy which was not a big success to begin with 

 

Anyway, my post was clearly about the album quality since we're speaking about dated music, and yeah it was a big failure at replicating Blackout aura

I actually think Circus is better because it showcased a more rebellious side of Britney that was heavily subdued during Blackout. Circus is actually much more subversive. Ironic I think considering what happened in 2008, but basically I think this was the last spark of her career before she fell into a depression. She really had something to prove with Circus but she was only tricked into believing that delivering a solid era would win her life back. It is a tragic nightmare to look back on, and the music has that kind of eery quality. There are moments on her next three albums but there is clearly something special about Circus. The fact both Womanizer and the title track are in her top 10 most streamed songs says it all.

The Fame is by far the biggest, most impactful and BEST album out of these and has the best recurrent streams too.

So it can't be the most dated   On ATRL everything is possible though!

The Spears album aged like fish. It hasn't charted on BB since 2009. (to be fair, no Britney album ever re-charts on BB, not even after all those documentaries last year). Despite "comeback hype," in 2008 it was stomped on by pretty much everyone who released an album - Taylor, Gaga, Beyonce, Katy, P!nk. And today, it still doesn't have 1 billion streams (to be fair, no Britney album does), not even after all those documentaries, press and sympathy. So the answer is clear: the Spears album
