This. At least if your 3rd album underperforms you can correct course. Being complete unable to release it basically means that it will underperform inevitably.

ignoring the blatant shade here  (i love both normani and camila) and answering the question proposed

i would much rather get an underperformed 3rd album than no album at all. i don’t care about sales the only thing that makes me care about it is the fear that a record label won’t let the artist release another album if it underperformed

A flop third album but a quality one is much better than not releasing one ever again. Fans & even artists would rather have that.

When you release a third album, it means there has been at least some sort of gain from the two albums before. So the underperformance doesn‘t hurt that much. When you release no album at all it means there‘s basically no demand for it and everyone involved is just avoiding to lose money.

If Camila wasn’t 5H’s poster girl on Epic (also 5H’s label), she never would have gotten this far. They never would have given her this many chances. But, as it is, every exposure of Camila is also exposure for 5H, so I bet even if Camila flops, 5H’s catalogue streams go up significantly as to negate the solo flop.

 

The other girls don’t have that working for them because they left the label (and kept their integrity). 

 

and Camila stans can think they’re being cute here but the blatant shade towards the girl that Camila was so racist towards is giving… it’s giving…. well…

Again, Camila was being racist towards Normani. You did not post a video of Normani being racist towards Camila but rather something completely incomparable. Using an accent versus using racial slurs??? Is this really the deflection you think it is???

Not surprised. Since it’s against Asians people always dismiss these videos. I never defend Camila on her alleged behavior, never will… but I always see Normani Stans use that on camila vs Normani threads to call her fans racist meanwhile they always dismiss her videos(not one, two! Seems like it’s normal for her)just like you.  

The hypocrisy. Racism comes in a lot of ways and forms. You proved me what I always say about her Stans using that all the time. Anyways… good night.
