Attitude Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. No one. I was preparing my coffee, turning on wi-fi and the first thing I read is: “Camila Cabello leaves Fifth Harmony”. I blinked my eyes countless times and I went on Facebook just to see more and more posts about it. I couldn’t believe it. My Fifth Harmony dream was over and there I was at 8AM sitting in my kitchen looking at the screen of my iPhone. I know this may sound a bit too much but… Yes. Tears started falling from my eyes and they wouldn’t stop. I don’t consider this to be an over dramatic reaction like many of you could easily consider. I look at it as unconditional love, dedication and passion. Something unexplainable, no one can translate love into words or even admiration. Some people get your attention and you don’t know why. And while I am fully aware that Fifth Harmony are not over, they’re just down to four, I also am aware that it’s never going to be the same. It doesn’t matter if it is Camila or Dinah or Lauren or Ally or Normani. It doesn’t. I saw this girlgroup being born when they were just five little girls. A few years later they turned into strong and confident women and extremely inspirational. They brought the term “girlgroup” back in the music industry and scored two of the biggest hits of this new decade. I was obsessed and extremely proud of it. I’ve always been aware that girlgroups are not meant to last and that’s why I flew to Paris just to see them live last year. I knew this was a fast career and that’s why I spent over 800€ on this girlgroup (I’ve watched them live twice, I met them twice, I bought their music, I took a trip just to see them, paid hotel… You make the counts!). I wanted to live it as much as I could and looking back I am so proud of every single thing I did for them. They brought back my fan vein in a way I’ve never experienced before. Britney Spears, Shakira… They’re both established artists and it’s another story on how their careers are handled. Every Fifth Harmony fan was aware that Camila Cabello was not happy. Ever since “Worth It” became a smash, something went wrong and the relationship between Camila and the four girls has always been weird. There’s indifference and I don’t know what to think. Nonetheless, I am no one to judge that. All I want to make clear is: Fifth Harmony are never going to be Fifth Harmony again and that’s why I feel like my dream has been crashed. My Fifth Harmony dream has ended. It hurts so bad when you’re not prepared… After all they announced a third album last week. And no. I am not turning my back on Camila. This was a rough decision but I know what it's like to be in a place where you don't belong or feel included and sometimes... It's better to just go for it. Yet, I always like to see things from the bright side and I am going to always support Fifth Harmony as a group just like any of the five girls as individual acts. They’ve had an amazing and beautiful impact in my life. Fourth (Fifth) Harmony… Good luck. Camila Cabello… Good Luck. Fifth Harmony… Thank You. You’ve given me the ultimate fan experience and you’ve been so inspirational. All of you. “You’re my everlasting love” Fifth Harmony, “Everlasting Love”

It has, indeed, been a great week for the Camilizers. We truly won. Camila's put out an acclaimed body of work. The reviews have all been very positive and no, I don't count that one review written by a pressed Shawn Mendez stan who described Shan's break-up singles as 'successful' (they won't even outstream DGY on Spotify). As for the album's sales and streams, she hasn't fallen that much from Romance given the fact that this time around she doesn't have a tour and a huge smash lead singel like 'Senorita' to support it, so the album is doing fine, everything considered. After all, Camila is sitting nicely in the top 10 of Global Spotify chart with her hit single 'Bam Bam', like a global pop girl that she is. She has 47 Million monthly Spotify listeners and a global hit. But back to the music, which is what matters the most. Familia is a cohesive 12-tracks album with no skips. Every song is an undeniable bop. Even Pitchfork praised it and gave it the most descriptive analysis of all the reviews. I was genuinely surprised by the meaning behind 'Lola', Cabello is truly a lyrical genius and a respected Latina artist and who is even yet to grow. Bye. "I ain't reading all that"...*proceeds to write an essay* Guessing that Bye means you're not coming back.
Alak96 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 (edited) This iconic meltdown The fact that you could NEVER come for Dua, Ariana or Gaga ever again after those Familia numbers Miss @Villanelle wanted to be as much of a loser as his fave this week Edited April 14, 2022 by Alak96
Lost In Paradise Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Y’all really need to look inside yourselves and figure out why you feel the need to hate on this woman so much. For things so many of you have probably done in the privacy of your sad, sad lives.
