Ana De Armas's performance in Blonde is more impressive than both Kate's and Michelle's. They're in better movies perhaps but i think she might have outsold in the acting department.

She should be frontrunner for Best Actress.

Yes, there was a tie between Katherine Hepburn for The Lion in Winter (her 4th win) and Barbra Streisand for Funny Girl in Best Actress.

Kendrick's short has better chance to get shortlisted and nominated than Taylor's because it's more of a proper short film. Taylor is doing the most as always with the campaigning, the short film and animation branches of the academy are very protective of the talent they recognize that normally are unknown and looking to breakthrough in the film industry. Voting for the shortlists starts on Monday until Thursday, we'll see if she shows up in the top 15. 

Before some of you consider me a hater, I think Taylor will show up the original song shortlist with Carolina.
